Your new role
Our client, an international company active in the medical technology industry, is looking for a Supply Chain & Logistics Operations Coordinator to support reliable order‑to‑delivery execution for both commercial activities and time‑critical surgical procedures.
In this role, you act as a key operational link between Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse/3PL partners, and Finance. You ensure that orders, deliveries and data flows in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) run accurately and smoothly, while providing high‑quality internal customer service to teams involved in patient‑critical logistics.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of supply chain operations, logistics coordination and internal service support, without being in a traditional call‑center or after‑sales role.
Main responsibilities
Master Data & Internal Setup
* Create and maintain customer, partner and logistical master data in D365 (delivery details, commercial terms, tax settings, pricing).
* Ensure accuracy, compliance and timely updates across all internal systems.
* Collaborate with Sales, Finance and Supply Chain to resolve missing information or approval requirements.
Order Processing & Cross‑Functional Coordination
* Enter and validate sales orders in D365 according to established standards.
* Check item availability, delivery constraints, requested dates and operational feasibility.
* Monitor order progress and take action when issues arise (inventory discrepancies, workflow holds, exceptions).
* Ensure proactive coordination with Sales and Supply Chain so that orders align with stock plans and surgical schedules.
Surgical Delivery Coordination & Logistics Support
* Prepare, release and follow up picking instructions for warehouse teams and 3PL partners, ensuring traceability and compliance.
* Coordinate deliveries of products required for scheduled surgeries, ensuring timing, accuracy and operational readiness.
* Liaise closely with logistics partners to guarantee controlled, on‑time and fully compliant shipments.
* Investigate differences between orders, system data and warehouse output and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Order Closure, Documentation & System Accuracy
* Validate and confirm shipments, ensuring on‑time order closure in D365.
* Secure data quality for invoicing and financial processes.
* Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all operational steps.
Internal Communication & Operational Troubleshooting
* Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance) on order and delivery matters.
* Communicate changes, delays, risks or constraints clearly and proactively.
* Document issues, follow up with the relevant stakeholders, and contribute to root‑cause analysis to avoid recurrence.
Your profile
Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations or another related discipline.
* At least 2 years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics coordination or order management.
Technical Skills
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations) is highly appreciated.
* Proficient in Excel and comfortable navigating digital workflows.
* Familiarity with WMS or 3PL platforms is a plus.
Soft Skills & Competencies
* Strong understanding of order‑to‑cash flows and logistics execution.
* High internal customer focus with a solution‑oriented and collaborative mindset.
* Able to coordinate with multiple departments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Detail‑oriented, structured, reliable and proactive when addressing operational issues.
* Comfortable working in a patient‑critical environment where timing and accuracy matter.
