Job responsibilities
Accounts Payable Management
* The financial check on purchase invoices.
* Manage vendor inquiries, reconcile monthly statements, and maintain clean aging reports.
* Intercompany reconciliation
* Prepare and execute payments and employee reimbursements.
* The full billing process.
* Perform daily Accounts Receivable and Credit Management activities, including and not limited to bank statement processing and sending reminders
* Manager customer and sales inquiries, reconcile monthly statements and maintain clean aging reports
General Accounting & Reporting
* Preparation of monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, reserves
* Key contributor on cross-functional project teams to achieve desired results
* Documentation of key controls and processes.
* Special projects and analysis, as needed.
* Prepare documentation & schedules for internal and external audits.
Who you are and what you bring to the team
* BS in Accounting 7+ years of experience, with a heavy emphasis on full-cycle.
* Experience with SAP or other large ERP system, including GL, AR & AP.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Strong analytical skills, critical thinking mindset, ability to troubleshoot.
* Strong understanding of system design principles, scalability, and security best practices
* Quick learner with a ‘can do’ mentality
Ideally, you have
* Demonstrated understanding of Local GAAP and IFRS to grasp and make 'big picture' decisions, while maintaining strong attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a small, cohesive finance team.
* Ability to interact with external auditors and resolve issues quickly under supervision of the Finance Manager.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
