In this role, you’ll ensure our software is delivered efficiently, securely, and at the highest quality — so our clients can keep making a positive impact worldwide.MissionAs a Software Delivery Manager, you will be the operational backbone of our 15-person development team. Your role is to drive delivery excellence and team performance. You will build a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and data-driven decision making, reporting to the Head of Engineering and working closely with the Product team to translate business needs into actionable delivery plans.In practice, this means you will:Plan and manage delivery: define goals, track progress, manage risks and dependencies, and remove blockers to ensure smooth sprints.Ensure quality & security: enforce secure development practices (SSDLC), maintain strong QA and testing standards, monitor code quality, and ensure compliance (ISO 27001).Boost team performance: foster collaboration, run reviews and career discussions, support hiring, and create an environment where people thrive.Use data & KPIs: define and track metrics (velocity, lead time, defect rates, code quality, etc.), analyze trends, and present insights to leadership to improve delivery.Optimize tools & processes: leverage Jira, Git workflows, CI/CD, and analytics tools (CodeScene, HayStack, CodeRabbit) to improve efficiency and visibility.Facilitate technical decisions: bridge business and technical needs, clarify requirements, coordinate with architects and leads, and ensure feasibility and alignment.What we’re looking forFluent in EnglishDegree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent proven experience5–10 years in software delivery or engineering management roles.Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).Solid knowledge of software development practices, quality assurance, and secure development.Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business needs.Bonus points if you have: SaaS experience or familiarity with PHP-based applications.The offerHybrid role: 2 to 3 days/week at Brussels HQA long term freelance contractWhy join us ?
