THE ROLE
As a Quality Audits & Inspections Specialist – Electrical Materials, you are responsible for performing quality inspections and audits on electrical materials used in large-scale infrastructure projects. You ensure compliance with technical specifications, applicable standards, and legislation, contributing directly to the reliability and safety of critical infrastructure.
You will work within a small team of auditors while independently managing supplier quality follow-up for the framework agreements assigned to you.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide technical input and advice for framework agreements and technical specifications.
* Perform product inspections and review suppliers' test results.
* Conduct audits of suppliers' production processes and quality management systems.
* Investigate internal quality issues and complaints, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve them.
* Analyse suppliers and products, assess risks, and define appropriate corrective or preventive measures.
* Carry out internal audits within your department to verify compliance with the ISO 17020 quality management system.
* Advise, train, and support stakeholders using your technical expertise.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
* Continuously update your technical knowledge and anticipate market and regulatory developments.
Your Profile
* A Master's degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering, with a specialisation in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or Electronics.
* Initial professional experience is an asset; however, motivated and mature recent graduates with a proactive mindset are also encouraged to apply.
* Excellent knowledge of French, with a good working knowledge of Dutch and English.
* Strong interest in quality management, technical systems, and infrastructure projects.
* Willingness to travel regularly to suppliers across Europe (approximately twice per month).
* Willingness to complete training to become an internal auditor within an ISO 17020 quality framework.
