Ph3How would you support our success? /h3 pThe VP Finance is a strategically and operationally significant member of the executive leadership team reporting directly to the MD. Working alongside the senior leaders within Silverfin, the VP Finance creates impact through advanced financial decision-making, collaborative problem solving and empowerment at the highest level across the entire business value chain. /p pThe leaders and teams across the functions of Finance and Legal report to the VP Finance. The VP Finance will coach and develop the leaders of these functions in a high-performing team environment. /p pThe VP Finance has a unique relationship with the MD, Board and other Visma leaders across the finance area. This is a busy role, involving high degrees of autonomy and working in both structured and unstructured contexts - often simultaneously. /p h3Key Impact Areas: /h3 ul liEstablish best practices in the Finance team to ensure we leverage our resources and capital investments efficiently, stay rigorously compliant and produce excellent financial plans and reporting. /li liOversee compliant and value-adding legal, financial risk and security policies and practices. /li liMaintain an effective level of business literacy including company strategy, business plans, financial position, competition, technology and culture. /li liAct as a key internal service provider to business departments — ensuring the leadership team feels supported with financial insight and legal clarity. /li /ul h3Your responsibilities: /h3 pStrategic financial leadership: /p ul liCollaborate strongly with the leadership team to create long-term strategic vision and annual business plans. /li liPartner with other leaders to accomplish short and long-term financial goals. /li liMaintain a deep understanding of the company’s financial position, competitive landscape and technology trends relevant to the industry. /li /ul pFinancial Performance Operations: /p ul liOversee rigorous financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. /li liManage and allocate resources effectively, including strict budget controls and capital investments. /li liMonitor key financial metrics to drive profitable growth and lead pricing and packaging as a key business driver. /li liSupport contract negotiations and development for customers and partners. /li liEnsure efficient and customer-focused billing and finance operations, including credit control, AP, expense management, banking and cash management. /li liLeverage technology and automation solutions to streamline finance operations and enhance productivity. /li liLeverage AI and next-generation tools for finance team efficiency — always ensuring adequate risk and change management. /li liEnsure compliance with financial regulations, industry standards and reporting requirements. /li liIdentify, assess and mitigate operational and financial risks and ensure high-quality outcomes for all required audit processes. /li liOversee regulatory compliance and reporting across all relevant jurisdictions. /li /ul pLegal, IP contractual management: /p ul liEnsure that the organisation complies with all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards. /li liDevelop and maintain a robust legal framework to protect Silverfin’s interests, systems and data. /li liOversee IP protection policies and ensure there are no unmanaged IP risks. /li liSupport contract negotiation and development for customers and partners. /li liManage external legal counsel relationships effectively. /li /ul pStrategic growth (MA): /p ul liParticipate in MA activities, due diligence, and integration efforts. /li liIdentify and evaluate strategic partnerships and alliances from a financial and legal perspective. /li /ul pBusiness performance reporting: /p ul liYou’re the right hand and maintain a proper helicopter view for all finance matters for the leadership team the MD. /li liEnsure all leaders have high-quality financial data, information and insights to better run the business. /li liOversee KPI and VISMA reporting, including regular feedback on business performance to senior stakeholders. /li liEnsure the Board and governance processes are well delivered: reporting, meeting content, communications. /li /ul h3What would success look like? /h3 ul liThe leadership team is confident the department under your leadership is aligned with company strategy, and executing according to our vision and values. /li liEnsure the business knows the value the Finance department delivers and that the team feels accountable to achieve high-performance outcomes. /li liGuarantee that all leaders have high-quality financial data, information and insights to better run the business. /li liEnsure the Board and governance processes are well delivered, meaning Board members love our financial reporting, communication, meeting content and processes. /li liEnsure fantastic monthly reporting and that Rule of Visma targets are achieved. /li liDrive continued financial literacy across the leadership team and the whole of the business. /li liBuild great internal relationships between key stakeholders. /li liEnsure there are few to no cases of legal conflict or IP legal cases raised against us. /li liInvestment in tools, digital processes and AI is well managed and responsive to business needs. /li /ul h3Experience and Qualifications: /h3 ul liProven experience (+5years) in senior finance leadership roles, preferably as VP Finance, CFO or equivalent. /li liBachelor’s or Master degree in Finance, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus. /li liExtensive experience in finance with a focus on supporting a performance-centred, growing SaaS business. /li liExperience in fintech or B2B SaaS is a requirement.
