Overview
An innovative industrial technology company is seeking a Team Lead – Industrial Software Engineering to oversee a small team of 6 software engineers. This role blends hands‑on technical work with team leadership and project coordination—ideal for a senior software engineer ready to take their first step into management or an experienced team lead looking for a new challenge in a technical, collaborative environment.
The Role
As Team Lead, you will manage and mentor a team of software engineers working on solutions that connect industrial devices (RF amplifiers, filters, I/O, etc.) to higher‑level systems. You’ll be involved throughout the full lifecycle—from design and prototyping to deployment and support—ensuring that both technical excellence and team performance remain high.
Your Responsibilities
 * Lead and mentor a team of 6 software engineers, balancing administrative and technical responsibilities.
 * Design, develop, test, and document industrial software solutions that interface hardware and supervisory systems.
 * Oversee the full component lifecycle—including analysis, factory deployment, documentation, and R&D testing.
 * Collaborate cross‑functionally with electronics, RF, and system architecture teams.
 * Support the factory and operations teams to ensure smooth product deployment.
 * Maintain and improve configuration tools developed in C# .NET.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues alongside other engineering disciplines.
 * Contribute to continuous improvement across software practices and development workflows.
Technical Skills
 * Strong programming experience in C++ and C#, comfortable working across both.
 * Solid understanding of Linux app deployment and administration.
 * Proficient in GIT source control.
 * Strong debugging and code refactoring abilities.
 * Interest in industrial or embedded systems integration.
 * Experience with BuildRoot.
 * Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus and SNMP.
 * Understanding of HTTP REST communication.
 * Awareness of cybersecurity fundamentals (OWASP, IEC 62443).
 * Basic knowledge of electronics or microcontrollers (ADuC) is a plus.
