Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect fluent in English and Dutch to join our team in Brussels. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing customer and infrastructure technical requirements and defining both business and technical architecture to ensure alignment with the program vision and long-term goals. You will play a key role in evaluating technical stacks, collaborating with stakeholders, and guiding the implementation of architecture solutions across a diverse range of IT systems. As an Enterprise Architect, you will provide technical leadership, resolve blockers, and ensure that the architecture is designed and implemented to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.Key Responsibilities:Architecture Definition & Design: Analyze customer and infrastructure technical requirements to define the business and technical architecture for IT systems, ensuring that it aligns with the program vision and long-term business goals.Technical Stack & Product Evaluation: Decide on the technical stack and evaluate products that enable customers to meet their IT needs and long-term objectives.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with system and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of the architecture with its environment.Architecture Evolution & Engagement: Continuously engage with the team, management, and other stakeholders to evolve and refine the architecture and ensure successful implementation.Problem Solving: Resolve technical challenges and blockers, providing direction to project teams to ensure successful architecture implementation.Impact Analysis & Business Cases: Conduct impact analyses with the support of domain architects and assist in the development of business cases for IT projects.Recommendations & Decision Making: Investigate architecture requirements raised by business and ICT, making recommendations for architecture decisions related to topics and gaps.Logical, Technical & Physical Architecture: Define and ensure the implementation of logical, technical, and physical architecture by collaborating with infrastructure stakeholders.Guideline Creation & Enforcement: Provide guidelines for design, development, and implementation of architecture, ensuring that the team follows them strictly.IT System Design: Architect IT systems to meet both non-functional and functional requirements, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.Required Skills & Knowledge:Proven experience working with both business and IT delivery teams to design and implement solutions.Strong knowledge of architecture patterns and principles.Deep understanding of traditional data centers as well as Azure cloud environments, including associated challenges.Hands-on experience with technologies such as:Azure, Microservices, .NET, React.Js, React Native, Node.Js, Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL DB, APIs, Web Services.Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture with a TOGAF certification.Demonstrated experience helping customers simplify complex IT estates into a standardized, streamlined IT landscape.Experience working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders, including onsite and offshore models.Knowledge of IT Operations, including both Application & Infrastructure Support.
