At EY, our audit teams play a vital role in helping businesses accurately reflect their financial picture and protecting financial markets. We work with clients across various industries, including automotive, government, consumer products, media and entertainment, oil and gas, power and utilities, and technology. Our auditors are responsible for providing independent verification of clients' compliance with accounting principles.
The Audit Process
Our audit process is typically organized into two phases: the Interim Audit Phase and the Final Audit Phase. During the Interim Audit Phase, we understand the client's business, interview clients, analyze business processes, identify and assess risks, and examine internal controls. In the Final Audit Phase, we audit accounting and financial reporting information, analyze financial statements, and make an informed decision about the validity of financial statements. We also inventory stocks to validate inventory quantities.
