We are working with retail organisations in Brussels preparing for upcoming transformation and optimisation initiatives. These projects require experienced freelance Business Analysts who understand the realities of retail operations and can translate business needs into practical solutions.
This is a hands-on role, working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors across core retail functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather, analyse, and document business requirements across retail operations
* Work closely with stakeholders in merchandising, supply chain, pricing, sales, and store operations
* Translate business needs into clear functional and process documentation
* Support process optimisation and operational efficiency initiatives
* Act as the link between business teams and technical delivery teams
* Support system improvements and integrations including ERP, POS, CRM, and reporting tools
* Facilitate workshops, stakeholder sessions, and validation meetings
* Ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
Required Experience
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst within retail environments
* Strong understanding of retail processes such as order to cash, inventory, pricing, promotions, and supply chain
* Experience working on transformation or system improvement projects
* Comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders
* Strong documentation and communication skills
* Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar is a plus
* Freelance status with availability for on-site or hybrid work in Brussels
