Your responsibilities as IP Assistant?
* You give support to our team in their daily work on intellectual property matters (with focus on trademarks, designs and copyright) and take care of the follow-up of their files
* You will provide general support services and reception duties such as: handling incoming telephone calls and visitors, distributing incoming mails to the relevant colleagues, following up on offers and administrative questions of clients, managing outgoing mail and office supplies.
* You take care of administrative follow-up of files, offers and invoicing
* You ensure accurate database management and monitoring of deadlines
* You will work closely with colleagues from other departments
* You will make yourself acquainted – with our help and training sessions – with the fundamentals of IP and especially trademark law so you become able to provide initial guidance and basic advice to clients
What makes you fit the profile of IP Assistant at Gevers?
* You have a degree in an Administrative Orientation / Office Management / Languages
* You are a starter (0-2 years) with a strong interest in administration
* Affinity for a legal environment is a plus
* You have excellent communication skills, written and spoken
* You are fluent in Dutch, with an excellent command of the English language. A good command of French is a plus
* You are proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Office Programs
* You are accurate, proactive and well organized
* You can work independently, handle deadlines and are stress resistant
* You are eager to learn and to develop yourself in the field
* You enjoy working in a team
