Our mission is to connect talented managers with medium-sized companies to unlock their growth potential and lead them to success. We seek top-tier managers and (aspiring) entrepreneurs interested in acquiring a medium-sized company (EBITDA €3M).
Through this page, you can register as a candidate to become a buy-in CEO. The process begins with an internal review. Successful candidates will be invited to our office for an evening of networking, food, and discussions about the Companions model. The journey of a buy-in CEO includes:
1. Shaping, evaluating, and driving the company's vision and strategic growth opportunities.
2. Managing the company's daily operations.
3. Driving growth through marketing and sales initiatives.
4. Optimizing product and service offerings and enhancing brand positioning.
5. Implementing operational improvements through automation, digitalization, and operational excellence initiatives. Identifying, assessing, and managing the integration of strategic expansion targets for acquisition.
6. Providing regular performance reports to the Companions team and seeking support when necessary.

The process
1. Register as a candidate by filling out the form below.
2. Internal review to assess compatibility.
3. Invitation to our event, Companions Connect, to learn more and meet the team.
4. Stay informed about target companies. When a buy-in opportunity arises, we will send a teaser and invite expressions of interest. Selected candidates will undergo a detailed selection process to evaluate leadership, industry knowledge, and strategic skills.
5. We will also inform potential future CEOs about new opportunities in active companies.
