is looking for a
Finance & Administration Officer
to support the financial sustainability, transparency and efficiency of our programs in Africa.
In this role, you will contribute directly to the impact of our projects by ensuring sound financial management and by supporting teams in the field, regional offices and headquarters.
Role & success criteria
You play a key role in managing financial resources and strengthening internal controls. Success in this role means:
* Accurate and timely financial reporting
* Clear budget monitoring aligned
* Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
* Practical support and guidance to teams using financial tools
Responsibilities
* Monitor and analyze budgets versus actuals for countries and regions
* Produce financial reports and KPIs for program and senior management
* Manage cash flow forecasts and treasury follow-up
* Handle Belgian accounting tasks (suppliers, payments, VAT declarations)
* Maintain and improve financial tools and dashboards (incl. Winbooks)
* Support teams in the use of financial systems and procedures
* Contribute to strengthening internal control and governance
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Management
* 2–3 years of experience in a finance or administration role
* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* Good knowledge of ERP systems (Winbooks or similar) and Microsoft 365
* Fluency in French; good knowledge of English and/or Dutch is an asset
* Ability to work autonomously and in a multicultural environment
