The European Schools are an intergovernmental organization offering multilingual and multicultural education. Job description The locally recruited teachers are hired under the employee status to teach in the primary cycle. Profile · Native speaker or thorough knowledge of the teaching language English (C1-C2 certified) · Knowledge of another language of the school is an advantage (CS, ES, EL, NL, DE, FR) · University degree (validated by the national authorities) permitting to teach in the primary school · Preferably, with recent professional experience for at least 2 years in the primary cycle · European citizen or person having a valid working permit in Belgium · Ability to teach mixed classes using effective differentiation · Strong motivation in teaching in a multicultural and multilingual environment · Ability to work and to cooperate with colleagues, management and families Offer We are offering ad interim contracts in accordance with the Service regulations for the locally recruited teachers in the European schools (Ref.: 2016-05-D-11-en-19) available on the EE website: - Starting day: as soon as possible - Schedule: 15,58 hours/week - Availability: The candidate should be available until 31/05/2026 (replacement) – the contract might be prolonged if the absence of the person replaced will continue. - Gross salary: Ad interim teacher shall be paid €45,08 (gross) for one hour in primary classes. - Location: Brussels, Belgium
