Functional Analyst Supply Chain / ERP / Logistics – Brussels
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months (Depending on project evolution, extension is possible)
Responsibilities
* Support the Supply Chain Transformation Program under the leadership of the Program Manager.
* Analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into functional designs for ERP (SAP) and logistics systems.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other analysts to ensure smooth integration and end-to-end delivery of Supply Chain solutions.
Language requirement
Languages – Speaking | Reading | Writing – Mandatory / Preferable
Dutch and/or French: one fluent and one passive or not spoken; proficiency levels: 1 = Basic, 2 = Good, 3 = Fluent
Location: Kobbegem (2 days onsite, with 3 days remote)
Level of education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent through experience.
Required Knowledge and Experience
* Soft skills
* Mandatory (senior 3–5 years): Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and documentation capabilities; ability to work collaboratively with business and technical teams; structured, detail-oriented and proactive; ability to manage priorities across multiple workstreams; experience in workshop facilitation; ability to challenge business needs and propose improvements; exposure to large, complex transformation programs.
* Business experience
* Mandatory (senior 3–5 years): 3–5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst in Supply Chain or ERP environments; proven experience with end-to-end Supply Chain processes (procurement, warehousing, inventory, order management, logistics); experience participating in ERP or logistics system implementation/integration projects; experience in multi-site Supply Chain contexts; working experience with both business and IT in cross-functional organizations.
Functional experience
* Mandatory (senior 3–5 years / junior 1–2 / expert 6+):
* Requirements gathering, process mapping, and functional specification writing.
* Ability to translate Supply Chain processes into ERP or logistics system functionalities.
* Support for solution design, gap analysis and functional validation.
* Collaboration with developers, integration specialists, and testers.
* Coordination of functional testing (SIT, UAT), including test scenarios and defect follow-up.
* Functional knowledge of SAP modules such as MM, WM, EWM, SD, PP.
* Experience with logistics systems (WMS, TMS, OMS).
* Knowledge of master data flows and dependencies in Supply Chain.
Technical experience
* Mandatory (senior 3–5 years):
* Understanding of ERP architecture (SAP ECC or S/4HANA).
* Familiarity with interface concepts: IDocs, APIs, flat files.
* Ability to read basic data models and understand system-to-system data flows.
* Experience with documenting functional & technical integration requirements.
* Basic SQL for data validation or troubleshooting.
* Exposure to dashboards or reporting tools (Power BI).
* Understanding of warehouse automation or IoT/logistics devices.
Objective of the job
Support the Program Manager in ensuring successful delivery of Supply Chain transformation initiatives by providing high-quality functional analysis, precise documentation, and thorough validation of ERP and logistics system integrations. Ensure functional alignment across stakeholders and contribute to the robustness and efficiency of future Supply Chain operations.
