Key responsibilities: Performance & Resource Optimization Optimize Oracle database performance using best practices: Apply compression techniques to reduce storage and improve I/O efficiency Perform query tuning to resolve performance bottlenecks Guide developers on efficient SQL coding and indexing strategies Improve ExaCC CPU efficiency by fine-tuning resource allocation algorithms Optimize backup and recovery processes for ZFS and ZDLRA appliances Document performance tuning methods, configurations, and troubleshooting steps Cross-Team Collaboration & Project Support Support cost optimization initiatives through database efficiency improvements Lead and contribute to key projects: Migration to Kerberos authentication Oracle Client upgrades Assist development teams with best practices in database design, performance, and scalability Create and maintain technical documentation (runbooks, SOPs, architecture diagrams) Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions (workshops, internal presentations) Multi-Platform Expertise (Bonus) Provide optimization insights across Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, and Azure Synapse environments Contribute to hybrid/multi-cloud strategy and best practices Document and share cross-platform lessons learned Is this you?
