Overview
Electrical Package Manager Offshore role at Jan De Nul Group. Join our international team to support offshore wind farm projects with a focus on high voltage electrical packages and interface management across construction, procurement, and commissioning phases.
Responsibilities
* Act as a proactive senior member of the offshore electrical team, supporting projects through different execution phases with technical knowledge in HV (HVDC and HVAC), MV and LV electrical matters.
* Contribute to basic electrical designs and lead or assist Electrical Project Engineers to ensure correct project execution.
* Manage interfaces with foundation and WTG packages; coordinate with other package managers to ensure integrated delivery.
* Assist in discussions with TSOs to ensure compliance with local regulations and grid requirements.
* Development / Tendering Phase
Coordinate with Commercial and Technical Package Managers to support offshore wind development and tenders; manage project planning and development for the relevant package; provide input on procurement strategy to identify, tender and select equipment suppliers, EPC and O&M contractors.
* Procurement
Lead procurement activities for the electrical package; identify contractors/suppliers; manage bid/tender processes; analyze proposals; negotiate terms and prices; provide supplier recommendations; assist with financial modelling where required.
* Construction Phase
Provide technical and commercial management during construction; plan EPC Contractor activities; address interface issues; administer contracts; lead meetings with contractors and internal teams; contribute to health, safety and environmental plans; coordinate with O&M contractors for smooth handover.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on renewable energy production.
* Minimum of 10 years’ experience with an energy developer, utility, turbine provider, or related contractor in a Package Manager role for offshore wind projects.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
* Willingness to work in Belgium and abroad; strong communication and teamwork abilities.
