Project Manager - High Voltage Substations (Data Centres and Energy Infrastructure)

We’re looking for a Project Manager to lead high-voltage and substation construction on large-scale programmes. You’ll own delivery end to end - from design coordination and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover - with a sharp focus on safety, quality, and schedule control.
What you’ll be doing
* Lead delivery of HV and substation construction works to programme, budget, and quality targets
* Drive design coordination, procurement strategy, construction execution, commissioning, and handover
* Manage daily site activity with strict adherence to HV safety protocols and safe systems of work
* Run project meetings, progress reporting, and proactive issue resolution across scope, schedule, and quality
* Own project controls, risk management, and reporting cadence
* Manage variations, delays, and contractual obligations with confidence
* Coordinate snagging and commissioning with client, consultants, OEMs, and contractors
* Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications
What we’re looking for
* Proven delivery experience on HV and substation construction projects - ideally 110kV+
* Strong technical understanding of AIS/GIS substations, HV switchgear, transformers, and protection and control
* Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or similar
* Strong stakeholder management - calm under pressure, clear communicator, commercially switched on
* A safety-first mindset with high standards and attention to detail
* PMP (or equivalent) is desirable
