As Head of Digital Workplace Practice, you are responsible for the overall leadership, performance and growth of the Digital Workplace pole for the Dutch-speaking market.
You combine people leadership, delivery excellence and commercial mindset, acting as a key interface between teams, clients, account managers and senior management.
You report to senior management and work closely with Account Managers and (where applicable) Program Managers.
People & HR leadership
* Lead, animate and inspire multidisciplinary teams (consultants, business analysts, project managers).
* Oversee recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
* Conduct performance reviews (EACs) and follow up on individual development plans.
* Ensure continuous skill development and expertise maintenance, particularly on Archibus and related digital workplace solutions.
* Foster internal mobility and prioritise internal skill development before external hiring.
Staffing & capacity management
* Ensure optimal staffing of projects across the practice.
* Monitor and achieve the target utilisation/occupancy rate for the team.
* Identify missing competencies and define hiring or upskilling strategies accordingly.
* Maintain visibility on resource availability and upcoming project needs.
Economic performance & governance
* Own the economic performance of projects within the practice.
* Ensure a positive bonus/malus balance by aligning sold effort vs. delivered effort.
* Validate project assumptions, volumes and pricing before proposals are sent to clients ("offer validation gate").
* Monitor margins, risks and corrective actions in collaboration with project managers.
Delivery quality & client satisfaction
* Guarantee high-quality project delivery aligned with client expectations.
* Ensure strong alignment between client needs and delivered solutions.
* Handle escalations, participate in Steering Committees and manage critical client situations.
* Promote best practices, delivery standards and continuous improvement.
Market & client development
* Actively develop the Digital Workplace business alongside Account Managers (and Program Managers when applicable).
* Drive account farming and client portfolio development.
* Support or lead strategic client discussions and roadmap definition.
* Contribute to the creation of client roadmaps aligned with the overall group strategy.
* Strengthen the group's position in the Dutch-speaking Belgian market.
* Strong experience in consulting, digital workplace or enterprise software environments.
* Proven background in people management and team leadership.
* Solid understanding of IWMS / workplace solutions (e.g. Archibus, Planon, Spacewell, ServiceNow, IBM TRIRIGA or similar).
* Experience in project governance, delivery management and financial oversight.
* Strong commercial acumen and client-facing skills.
* Ability to operate in a fast-growing organisation, balancing structure and agility.
* Natural leader with strong communication, decision-making and escalation management skills.
Languages
* Dutch: native or near-native level (mandatory)
* English: professional level
* French is a strong asset
