Mission Overview:
Sitting within the Purchasing Department, the Services Team manages a diverse and high-volume portfolio of indirect spend. From technical studies and fleet management to facility services and auditing, we act as the strategic link between internal stakeholders and global suppliers.
As a Group Buyer, you will manage categories totaling tens of millions of euros in annual spend. Your goal is to drive business performance by optimizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), capturing group-wide synergies, and ensuring seamless service delivery for our internal customers.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing: Define and execute innovative purchasing strategies that align with group objectives and market trends.
Category Management: Take end-to-end ownership of assigned categories and framework contracts at both the local and European levels.
Stakeholder Partnership: Build deep relationships of trust with internal departments to better define needs and deliver value-added solutions.
Negotiation & Market Analysis: Conduct rigorous market research and lead complex negotiations to secure long-term, high-impact supplier partnerships.
Synergy Optimization: Identify and implement cross-departmental opportunities to maximize efficiency and cost-savings across the Group.
Collaborative Leadership: Lead multifunctional teams through structured communication to ensure project success.
Requirements:
Master's degree
Min. 3 years of experience in a purchasing role; technical purchasing is a plus.
You are able to speak, read and write fluently English, French and Dutch. (3 linguistics are important)
Experience in project management is an asset.
