1. Technical Strategy: The Senior E2E architect is responsible for developing the technical strategy of their assigned domain.
2. Network Design: They design telecommunications network architecture, considering factors such as scalability, reliability, and performance.
3. Technology Evaluation: The Senior E2E architect evaluates new telecom technologies and solutions to enhance network capabilities, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
4. Requirements Analysis: They collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for network infrastructure.
5. Solution Development: The Senior E2E architect develops comprehensive telecom solutions that meet business needs and regulatory and standard compliance, take into account the impact on existing systems and operations, are future-proof, and leverage state-of-the-art technologies.
6. Transversality (E2E view): They ensure that proposed solutions are fully integrated with existing telecom and IT systems, and, in case of transversal solutions, that the different components are fully interoperable.
7. Vendor and External Partner Management: The Senior E2E architect collaborates with telecom vendors and external partners to evaluate offerings, negotiate contracts, discuss designs&roadmaps, and validate offered products and services.
