Your Role
As an SAP MM Senior Expert within our International Procurement IT Team, you will support colleagues across the Americas region and worldwide, ensuring our procurement processes, systems, and legal requirements run smoothly and efficiently.
You will play a key role in system support, strategic projects, international rollouts, and the continuous improvement of procurement solutions, especially in SAP MM and related modules.
You will work collaboratively with global procurement, local stakeholders, and international IT teams, acting as both advisor and solution provider while supporting Dr. Oetker’s digitalization strategy.
What You Will Do
Procurement Systems Support & Expertise
* Provide support for procurement related tickets, ensuring effective and timely resolution.
* Act as a global advisor for the use of SAP MM and procurement systems in strategic projects and international rollouts.
* Ensure compliance with legal business requirements, especially for Brazil and Mexico (e.g., Nota Fiscal, Brazilian Tax Calculation, GRC Brazil).
* Perform SAP MM customizing mainly in Purchase related processes, create development specifications, concepts, and support testing activities
* Work 50% with Brazil and 50% with the international organization.
* Work on local and global projects related to system adjustments and the tax reform in Brazil.
System Development & Optimization
* Lead or support the creation of backend workflows and enhancements.
* Contribute to localization ABAP developments using BAdIs, BAPIs, UserExits, CDS Views and Fiori Apps.
* Continuously improve and optimize existing procurement software solutions.
* Coordinate external service providers when needed.
Project Leadership & Collaboration
* Work on procurement related projects, including initiatives linked to labor reform and new business requirements.
* Lead small to mediumsized IT projects, ensuring alignment with business architecture and global processes.
* Support global and regional teams across Brazil, Mexico, Canada, USA, and other countries.
* Collaborate with crossfunctional stakeholders to harmonize business processes and ensure consistent system usage.
Operational Procurement IT Activities
* Manage SAP activities such as material creation, inventory management (optional), and workflow updates.
* Monitor and respond to procurement mailboxes and ticket queues.
* Ensure smooth system operations aligned with the IT working schedule.
* Travel 1–2 times per year for global or regional engagements.
What You Bring
* Degree in Business Informatics, IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
* 5–7 years of experience in procurement and production environments.
* Strong expertise in SAP MM Purchasing and related modules.
* Deep knowledge of:
* Nota Fiscal
* Brazilian Tax Calculation
* GRC Brazil
* Localization ABAP tools (BAdI, BAPI, UserExits)
* CDS Views and Fiori Apps
* Additional experience in SAP PP or other modules is an advantage.
* Strong skills in requirement gathering, customizing, specification writing, and testing.
* Experience leading small or mediumsized IT projects.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a solutionoriented mindset.
* Excellent English communication skills and strong intercultural competence.
* Knowledge of international organizations and global processes.
* Availability to travel internationally (1–2 times per year).
