About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Change and Risk Manager to join a dynamic and high-performing project management consultancy team based in Charleroi, Belgium. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective risk and change management processes are in place to support the successful delivery of complex projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in risk and change management, particularly in high-tech, pharmaceutical, data centre, infrastructure, or oil and gas industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Risk and Change Management
:
* Lead and manage the Early Warning Notifications (EWNs), risk management, and change management processes.
* Host and facilitate regular meetings with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to review risks, changes, and EWNs.
* Escalate issues that breach agreed escalation thresholds.
* Change Communication
:
* Ensure all stakeholders are informed of change orders and actions required.
* Maintain an up-to-date client database with detailed, clear information.
* Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA)
:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate QRA workshops, reviewing project costs, schedules, and risks.
* Use expert analysis to develop stress test scenarios for extreme risk events, presenting findings and recommendations to the wider team.
* Best Practices and Engagement
:
* Engage collaboratively with risk owners to develop realistic risk impact assessments.
* Ensure that identified risks and mitigation measures are accurately costed and scheduled.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline, with a proven track record in risk and change management.
* Strong experience in complex projects within high-tech, pharmaceutical, data centre, infrastructure, or oil and gas industries.
* Proficiency in risk management tools such as Safran Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk, and familiarity with ARM, Xactium, or RiskPredict.
* Strong knowledge of ISO 31000, COSO, AACE, and PMI Risk Management principles.
* Experience with highly complex schedules in Primavera P6, identifying critical paths and project fragnets.
* Professional certification or progress towards certifications such as AACE PRMP, PMI-RMP, IRM, or APM.
