Every day, billions of financial transactions move through the banking system. Within that flow are fraud signals, compliance risks, and operational issues.
If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.
Vyntra helps banks understand and act on this data in real time. We work with over 130 financial institutions across 60+ countries, building systems where reliability is critical.
The Role
We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our Transaction Observability Product Development team in Mechelen.
This is a software engineering role focused on delivery, deployment and developer productivity — not a pure operations role.
You'll build the tooling, automation and deployment capabilities that help our engineering teams deliver software reliably and at scale. Our customers run Vyntra in complex banking environments, so deployment, upgrade and operational tooling are critical parts of the product itself.
A central Platform Engineering team provides the shared infrastructure. Your focus is what sits on top — ensuring builds are consistent, deployments are reliable, and releases are predictable and repeatable.
You'll work closely with product engineers across the Transaction Observability platform, helping improve how software is built, tested, packaged and delivered.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving engineering problems through automation and tooling, and who cares about creating great experiences for both developers and customers.
Core technologies include Java, Gradle, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD and AWS.
What You'll Work On
* Design and improve CI/CD pipelines for a large Java-based product
* Build automation, internal tooling and deployment capabilities, including Kubernetes operators
* Own and evolve the deployment experience used by customers, including Helm charts, Kubernetes packaging and release tooling
* Investigate build, deployment and test issues and address root causes
* Improve how we build, test and release software as an engineering organisation
* Support realistic environments for QA, performance testing and product validation
* Work closely with engineers across the platform to improve developer experience and delivery efficiency
* Contribute directly to product code when needed
What We're Looking For
You enjoy building systems that help other engineers work more effectively and deliver software with confidence.
You'll bring:
* Strong software engineering fundamentals
* Experience building or maintaining CI/CD systems, deployment tooling, internal developer platforms or release automation
* Experience with Kubernetes and modern build systems
* Comfort working across tools, technologies and programming languages, including Java
* A focus on building reliable, maintainable and scalable systems
* Strong ownership and a proactive approach to problem solving
* Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
Nice To Have
* Experience building Kubernetes operators
* Familiarity with GitOps approaches and tools such as ArgoCD
* Experience with performance testing tools such as Gatling, k6 or JMeter
* Experience supporting large-scale Java applications in production environments
Why Join Vyntra
Your work will directly impact how our software is delivered, deployed and operated in production at some of the world's largest financial institutions.
You'll help shape the developer experience, release processes and deployment tooling that engineering teams rely on every day.
The team is small, experienced and highly collaborative. You'll have real ownership, the opportunity to influence technical decisions and the freedom to improve how things are done.
We use modern tooling and continuous delivery practices, allowing engineers to see the impact of their work quickly and continuously improve the platform. xphnsxz
