In this role, you will: Serve as the right hand to our R&D manager and support the technical department in various tasks Develop necessary installations for the current machine park (e.g., stairs, safety features, automation, etc.) Prepare technical specifications and documentation for the molds Provide support in technical drafting, including: Draw parts and components Create designs and make product or mold modifications Optimize technical drawings for our own infrastructure Prepare and organize planned repair works Over time, oversee general operations within the mold department Create and monitor work orders for the technical team To perform this role you have: A technical degree (bachelor’s or master’s level) Experience in a similar role as a technical drafter or work preparer Experience with one-off or custom production work Strong skills in Excel (including pivot tables) Knowledge of CAD software, preferably SolidWorks (experience with Solid Edge or Inventor is also relevant) Strong communication skills and you are a team player, comfortable working with colleagues at all levels An eye for accuracy, organization, and attention to detail A proactive attitude and a constant drive for quality A competitive salary package with numerous additional benefits Flexible working hours Extra vacation days Holiday gifts Team activities Our client manufactures thermoplastics for all industrial sectors.
