IT Field Support Engineer
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you are the key first point of contact for IT support across a large international organization. Operating at a mid-senior level within the Information Technology & Services function, your primary focus is ensuring the reliability and continuity of IT services for end users, in a context of ongoing technological evolution and multi-site operations. The role demands strong technical breadth, a service-oriented mindset, and a genuine commitment to operational excellence.
Key responsibilitiesProvide level 1 and 2 support for incidents and service requests, resolving a maximum of cases at first contact — remotely or on-siteLog, track, and close tickets rigorously through an ITSM tool, ensuring full traceabilityDeploy PCs, manage system images, and handle hardware and software installations — including Windows 11 configuration and troubleshootingMonitor and manage the full lifecycle of IT equipment across sitesAdminister Microsoft 365 environments (licences, access, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), Active Directory, Entra ID, and Exchange On-Premise & OnlineManage IT requests and documentation through Atlassian tools (Jira / Confluence)Contribute to IT documentation, procedures, and ongoing projectsConduct technology watch and proactively propose continuous improvement initiatives — with knowledge of ITIL frameworks as a strong assetCollaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, and business teams on a daily basisOrganize and manage your own workload across a dynamic, multi-site environment with shifting priorities
ProfileYou have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar IT support or customer-facing IT function, ideally in an international industrial or corporate services environmentYou hold a degree in IT or equivalent demonstrated experienceYou are proficient in PC deployment & imaging, IT asset lifecycle management, and scripting with PowerShellYour communication skills in French are excellent, both written and verbal. English at a professional level is requiredYou are structured, autonomous, and comfortable navigating complex corporate environmentsYou naturally engage with end users, ask the right questions, and translate technical issues into clear, actionable solutionsFamiliarity with large-scale, multi-country corporate IT environments is a strong asset
