HR Business Partner – Belgium Location: Flemish Brabant (hybrid – 2-3 days/week in the office) Employment type: Full-time (40 hours/week) Level: Medior/Senior Start: As soon as possibleFor one of our clients in the chemical manufacturing industry, we are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner in Belgium.Our client is an international leader in professional care products, serving FMCG customers. The company is currently in a period of strong transformation and modernization – HR plays a vital role in supporting this journey.As HR Business Partner Belgium, you will work from the office located in the Flemish Brabant region and act as the local HR contact for managers and employees. You are part of the HR Benelux team and collaborate closely with international stakeholders. Your role combines operational HR support, strategic advice and project ownership, with plenty of space for autonomy and impact.What will you do?Partner with managers and employees on daily HR topics such as absenteeism, performance management, development, onboarding, and labor relations.Provide HR advice and support managers in navigating legal, policy and process-related questions.Lead or contribute to HR projects, such as policy reviews, organizational changes, outsourcing, internal communications, or system implementation.Drive process improvements, standardization, and simplification of HR services.Build relationships across departments and create trust as a reliable HR point of contact.Collaborate closely with your HR colleagues in the Netherlands and the broader European HR network.Support alignment and local implementation of global HR programs and initiatives.Actively contribute to change management, organizational culture, and employee engagement.What are we looking for?You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in HR, business, law or related field.You bring at least 5 years of HR experience, ideally in a dynamic or international environment.You are familiar with Belgian labor law, collective labor agreements, and social dialogue – or you are eager to learn.You are fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.You are tech-savvy and comfortable working with digital HR tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, Excel).You are analytical, hands-on, proactive, and service-oriented – with a sense of humor and a pragmatic mindset.You enjoy working independently, but thrive in a team where knowledge is shared, and people support each other.What’s in it for you?
