Job description
* Develop and manage demand forecasts using historical data and sales input.
* People Management: 1 FTE (Demand & Supply planner)
* Optimize inventory to meet demand while minimizing financial loss from excess stock.
* Collaborate across departments (sales, marketing, regulatory, management) to align supply planning with market needs.
* Handle supplier relationships, both within Europe and globally, to secure timely deliveries.
* Lead the monthly forecasting cycle, updating trends and supporting financial planning.
* Oversee order placement and tracking from global production sites and European CMOs to Belgian distribution centers.
* Support new product launches by gathering critical data from internal teams.
* Avoid stockouts while minimizing product write-offs and waste.
* Improve forecast accuracy with better tools and cross-functional input.
Candidate profile
* Education & Experience: Bachelor's/Master's in Business, Economics, Engineering, or Supply Chain
* Experience: +5 years in demand & supply planning management / S&OP management.
* Languages: Fluent in English and French (or Dutch)
* Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and resolve supply chain issues
* Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented
* Tools & Systems: Proficiency in data analysis tools; ERP experience (Oracle is a plus)
* Supply Chain Knowledge: Solid understanding of inventory and supply chain management principles
* Ability to navigate cross-cultural coordination, especially with global teams
* Proactive and strategic in supply chain risk management
