About the role
For a leading engineering site in Puurs, we are seeking a Project Engineer specializing in Transport and Handling Equipment. This role is integral to the automation and enhancement of logistics processes, supporting the delivery of high-quality injectable pharmaceuticals.
As our clients site expands, there is a growing need to evolve surrounding processes for material supply to production departments, enhancing efficiency and establishing just-in-time delivery systems. The Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in automating processes, from robotization of manual tasks to optimizing pallet transport and vial handling.
Key responsibilities
* Develop and monitor project plans for multiple equipment packages
* Identify potential risks related to safety, breakdowns, and operability
* Manage stakeholder relationships across various departments
* Report progress to project teams and management at regular intervals
* Draft equipment specifications and coordinate with suppliers
* Serve as the primary contact for equipment suppliers
* Align production department needs with project objectives
* Organize and attend equipment Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)
* Oversee installation, testing, verification, and commissioning of equipment
* Prepare and deliver necessary project documentation

About you
* Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Bioengineering, or equivalent
* A first experience in a related role is necessary
* Proficiency in both Dutch and English languages is mandatory
* Excellent organizational, communication and documentation skills
* Teamplayer
* Knowledge of robotics and automation is a plus
