As a part of the High Purity Quartz Maintenance Team the Instrumentation Technician role will empower you to for troubleshooting, install, and repair of instrumentation and control systems in an industrial setting. This role ensures that all instrumentation processes operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Your Impact in This Role
As an Instrumentation Technician, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation equipment, including sensors, transmitters, and control systems.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot instrumentation and control system issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
3. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on instrumentation systems, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurement devices.
4. Read and interpret electrical, instrumentation, and control system schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
5. Conduct testing, calibration, and inspections of instrumentation equipment to verify system integrity and compliance with safety standards.
6. Work with engineers and operations teams to develop and implement process improvements.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, such as NEC, OSHA, and NFPA.
8. Maintain accurate documentation of instrumentation system configurations, modifications, and maintenance activities.
9. Stay up to date with advancements in instrumentation technology and participate in ongoing training programs.
What You Bring to the Table

11. High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in instrumentation, electrical, or control technology preferred.
12. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in industrial instrumentation and control systems.
13. Strong understanding of calibration techniques, troubleshooting methods, and industrial instrumentation.
14. Knowledge of industrial networking protocols, such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus.
15. Ability to read and interpret electrical and control system schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
16. Fluency in the local language and written and spoken English.
