PbTrainee Field Service Engineerbr / /b /ppThis position provides a unique opportunity for a candidate with electrical and/or IT hardware and software qualifications to train to become a fully skilled DR X-ray Field Service Engineer. An FSE performs technical support for Agfa Healthcare’s imaging products. The employee will be based from home and will be trained in-house to be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment.br / /ppThe individual must be customer focused at all times, must be prepared to work alone and as part of a team, be able to interact well with colleagues, customers and third party trades in a professional and tactful manner, and in doing so present a positive image of the Company.br / /ppSupport and training will be provided in all modalities and will involve travel to Germany undergo face to face, hands-on product training. br /Travel also required within the UK to shadow skilled engineers and work with installation teams.br / /ppThis role will suit someone who is keen to use their electrical knowledge to develop a career in the medical equipment industry through a 3-4 year Development Plan.br / /ppbJob role responsibilities:br / /b /p liProblem-solving in a responsible and methodical manner whilst carrying out effective customer liaison skills to ensure total customer satisfaction. /liliProduce accurate and sufficiently detailed reports to ensure that the customer is kept informed about the work and to satisfy HS compliance record keeping. /liliObserve and adhere to company health safety guidelines and contribute to a healthy and safe working environment. /liliThe ability to manage your own schedule when required for field based installations, corrective actions, upgrades and preventative maintenance. /liliFlexibility to work away from home as required. /liliTo manage return of equipment and parts in a compliant timely manner to ISO and WEEE procedures /liliTo have an empathy to working within a medical environment.br / /li pbQualifications:br / /b /p liDegree, HND or similar in Engineering/Electronics.
