Brief Call
: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you
Interviews
(the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities
Case study
: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description
Amaris Consulting is looking for an experienced
Senior Java/Angular Developer
to join our team in Brussels. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end application development, contribute to architectural decisions, and support the delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions in an international and collaborative environment.
Your Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Angular
* Contribute to architectural design and ensure best practices in coding standards
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver solutions
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team
Your Profile:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
* 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack development with Java and Angular
* Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and modern development frameworks
* Fluent in English (French is a strong plus)
* Proactive, collaborative, and eager to share knowledge within the team
* Based in or willing to relocate to Brussels
