We are a healthtech company specialized in the development of advanced robotic surgery systems for high-precision minimally invasive procedures. Founded in 2012 as a spin-off from UPC and IBEC, our mission is to make robot-assisted surgery more accessible, precise, and efficient worldwide. We design and develop next-generation computer-controlled surgical robotic systems and endoscopic instruments.


🎯 Your mission

As a Mechanical Design Engineer in our R&D team, you will contribute to the design, development and testing of robotic surgical systems and endoscopic instruments, working across concept, prototyping, testing and documentation phases. You will help transform ideas into real surgical technologies used in advanced robotic surgery platforms.


🛠️ Your main responsibilities

* Support pre-design research activities for computer-controlled surgical systems and endoscopic instruments
* Contribute to design and development of robotic surgical systems (conceptual design, mechanisms, motor and sensor selection, control system support)
* Generate ideas and engineering solutions for new robotic surgery products and subsystems
* Support mechanical design, build and testing of surgical robotic devices and accessories
* Assist in preparation and review of design and development documentation (design inputs, specifications, test protocols and reports)
* Participate in risk management activities for medical robotic systems
* Interface with suppliers and support technical communication
* Define requirements and prepare purchase specifications
* Prepare purchase orders and support procurement processes
* Perform incoming inspection and verification of components
* Ensure compliance with Quality Management System requirements
* Collaborate in the creation and maintenance of design and development files for medical devices


🎓 What are we looking for?

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Robotics studies are a plus (not mandatory)
* +3 years of experience in mechanical engineering
* Experience in the surgical robotics sector
* Experience in CAD tools (SolidWorks or similar)
* Experience with MATLAB or model-based design tools (preferred)
* Experience in rapid prototyping is a plus
* Experience in medical devices or regulated industries is a plus
