Job descriptionAs an Operations Supervisor, you are the driving force behind daily production and support operations. Your leadership ensures smooth and compliant manufacturing activities while guiding and motivating your team to deliver their best work.
Your responsibilities include:Leading and supervising operational teams, overseeing production or support activities such as cleaning, material transfer, replenishment, sterilization, or cryopreservationActing as the first point of contact for operational challenges and collaborating with other departments to find solutionsManaging and reviewing critical documentation such as batch records, SOPs, work instructions and quality-related recordsCoaching, training and developing team members to strengthen skills and maintain high performanceOrganizing and leading Tier meetings to ensure clear communication and task executionDriving continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce costs and enhance qualitySupporting audit readiness and maintaining compliance with internal standards and external requirementsEnsuring safe and reliable operations in line with EHS standards
Required competences & skillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Bio-Engineering, Pharmacy, Engineering or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years of people management experience, leading teams of 10+Experience in biotech, pharma or advanced therapies is a strong plusKnowledge of GMP/ATMP is an advantageFluent in English, Dutch is a plusStrong leadership, communication and organizational skillsHands-on, solution-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentFlexible, stress-resistant and willing to work in a 4-on/4-off shift systemProficient with Microsoft Office; MES/EBR knowledge is a plus
