Senior Quality Manager – Civils - HV Electrical Project - Long-term - Onsite
Earthstream Global is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Manager to lead the entire Quality scope of a major electrical construction project in Belgium.
This is a critical role responsible for ensuring all construction activities and deliverables meet rigorous quality standards, regulatory compliance, and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and maintain the project QA/QC plan in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
* Oversee all quality-related functions including inspections, audits, and testing activities.
* Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure adherence to specifications and project standards.
* Manage documentation and reporting of QA/QC performance and ensure traceability of quality records.
* Interface with client representatives and third-party inspectors to align expectations and resolve quality issues promptly.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* Extensive experience within the construction industry (electrical, power, or industrial projects preferred).
* 5-10 years’ experience managing a quality programme.
* Strong experience monitoring civil works (pilling, concrete foundations), erection works, and commissioning of HV projects.
* In-depth knowledge of quality standards construction codes.
* Experienced with construction scheduling, projects admin & management.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication in English, written and verbal.
