Content Management Expert (Webmaster)
About the Role
We are looking for a Content Management Expert (Webmaster) to support the management and evolution of an internal knowledge management platform used across EU institutions.
The platform is built on Microsoft SharePoint Online and serves as a central hub for guidance, templates, processes, and news related to financial and administrative topics. It is used by thousands of staff across EU institutions, bodies, and agencies, generating a high volume of monthly interactions.
You will join a small team responsible for the day-to-day management, quality, and continuous improvement of the platform, working closely with a large network of internal content providers.
Your Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain content on a SharePoint Online communication site
* Ensure high-quality, clear, and well-structured content in English
* Coordinate and support a network of internal content contributors
* Maintain and optimise information architecture, metadata, and permissions
* Edit and publish pages using advanced SharePoint functionalities and web parts
* Improve user experience and navigation across the platform
* Manage content libraries, lists, and structured information
* Respond to content updates and requests from users and contributors
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform
Your Profile:
Experience
* Experience managing SharePoint Online communication sites
* Experience in web content management and editorial processes
* Experience working with multiple stakeholders or distributed content contributors
* At least 6 years of experience
Technical Skills
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Online
* Experience managing libraries, lists, metadata, permissions, and term store
* Advanced page editing and web part usage (including PnP Search)
* Familiarity with Power Apps and Power Automate in a SharePoint environment
* Understanding of UX and UI principles for web platforms
Soft Skills
* Excellent writing and editing skills in English
* Ability to simplify complex or technical information
* Strong collaboration and communication skills
* Ability to work proactively and in an agile manner
* Comfortable working with large networks of contributors
