Your Role as MES Project Manager
As a MES Project Manager, you will lead Manufacturing Execution System implementation and optimization projects within regulated Life Sciences environments. You will be responsible for driving digital transformation on the shop floor, ensuring alignment between business needs, technical solutions, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery
Lead end-to-end MES implementation projects, from scoping and design to deployment and validation
Manage project timelines, resources, budgets, and stakeholder expectations
Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA, and EMA regulations throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, manufacturing, quality, and external vendors
Client Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating operational challenges into MES solutions
Serve as a bridge between business and IT teams, ensuring digital solutions are aligned with both strategic goals and operational realities
Build strong relationships across departments (Manufacturing, QA, Regulatory, IT)
Team Collaboration & Growth
Work closely with internal project teams to ensure smooth coordination and a supportive, solution-oriented environment
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights, exchanging knowledge, and supporting team success
Your Profile
Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, IT, or related field
2-5 years of experience in MES project management within pharmaceutical, biotech, or medtech industries
Strong understanding of MES platforms (e.g., Werum PAS-X, Rockwell PharmaSuite, Siemens Opcenter)
Familiarity with GxP, CSV, and regulatory requirements in manufacturing environments
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French
Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies is an asset
