We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join one of our clients in the banking sector, within the Risk & Credits Tribe, focusing on the Risk Cluster, which manages the setup of risk data and calculation infrastructure.
Your role:
As a Business Analyst, you will support squads on key initiatives aimed at enhancing the risk infrastructure:
* Immovable Asset Data Management: Assist in migrating an aging mainframe application to a new Java-based distributed application, supporting new requirements such as ESG.
* Professional Loan Credit Acquisition: Participate in the development of a new credit origination tool that replaces three legacy applications, supporting front-office activities for professional credits, from small businesses to large corporates.
Key responsibilities:
* Translate end-user requirements into clear business requirements.
* Collaborate with developers to ensure deliverables meet expectations, including code reviews and white-box testing.
* Use SQL to analyze data, define use cases, and verify results across the full portfolio.
* Document detailed use cases and expected system behavior.
* Support functional and non-functional requirement definition and development follow-up.
Profile:
Experience & Skills:
* Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst in large-scale IT projects.
* Experience supporting development squads in agile environments.
* Functional and technical analysis skills.
* Medium experience with SQL and standard MS tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
* Testing and validation experience.
* Preferable: experience with Java, JSON/REST, Java development frameworks, MQ Series/Kafka, complex security configuration, or credit/credit risk knowledge (Basel III).
Education & Language:
* University degree preferred, strong math skills.
* Languages: Fluent in English, plus good knowledge of Dutch or French.
