Our client is looking for a Technical Writer of Cybersecurity documentation to work on a long term contract. This would require 3 days per week onsite presence in Brussels with work from home.
As the project’s Technical Writer, you will play a key role in building a comprehensive documentation library that supports security, stability, and compliance. You will be the spider in the web where it comes to gathering and normalizing existing documentation and expanding that documentation in a comprehensive library that is aligned with the requirements of the NIS2.
Your Role:
• Develop and maintain a centralized documentation library for IT and Cybersecurity processes.
• Gather information through interviews with operational teams, observation, and review of existing documentation.
• Standardize and unify documentation formats to ensure consistency and accessibility.
• Ensure all documentation aligns with NIS2 compliance requirements and ISO27001 principles.
• Collaborate with IT and Cybersecurity teams to capture accurate workflows, incident response procedures, and operational best practices.
• Support audits and compliance reviews by providing clear, structured documentation.
Your Profile:
• 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in IT or Cybersecurity domains.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured documentation.
• Excellent interviewing and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as NIS2 and ISO27001.
• Proficient in documentation tools and content management systems.
• Strong organizational, communication and people skills.
• Fluent in English, with conversational ability in French or Dutch preferred
