We are seeking an experienced Medior Civil Engineer with strong expertise in steel structural design to support complex industrial, building, and infrastructure projects. You will take technical leadership on structural studies, collaborate closely with project teams, and ensure that all designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
* Lead the engineering and detailed design of steel structures (industrial frames, platforms, pipe racks, buildings, support structures, etc.).
* Conduct structural analysis using Eurocodes and industry software (Robot, SCIA Engineer, RFEM, or equivalent).
* Produce and verify calculation notes, technical reports, load assumptions, and material specifications.
* Review fabrication drawings, connection details, and workshop documents.
* Work closely with drafting teams and ensure the technical consistency of design deliverables.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in client-facing activities.
* Provide guidance and technical support to junior staff and CAD designers.
* Support construction activities by addressing technical queries and participating in site visits as needed.
ABOUT YOU:
* Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
* 5+ years of relevant experience in steel structures engineering.
* Excellent knowledge of Eurocodes and structural modelling software.
* Experience in both design and execution phases.
* Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
* Fluent in French, Dutch, and English or able to operate professionally in these languages.
