MES Expert – Pharmaceutical Industry

We are currently looking for an MES Expert to support one of our pharmaceutical partners located near Brussels. Introduction
As an MES Expert, you will play a key role in the digital transformation of manufacturing operations. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions supporting the transition from paper‑based to electronic batch records. Working closely with process experts, IT, and validation teams, you will ensure that MES solutions are fully aligned with GMP requirements and operational needs.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Translating manufacturing processes into clear MES user and functional requirements
* Supporting system validation activities
* Executing tests of electronic batch records within the MES environment
* Collaborating with cross‑functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
* Ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to GxP standards
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives related to digital manufacturing
* Gradually managing assigned MES packages with increasing autonomy
Your Profile
Must‑Have Skills
* You have a first experience working in a regulated pharmaceutical or bio-manufacturing environment (GxP)
* You have an hands‑on experience with MES solutions (any major platform)
* You have a solid understanding of validation life-cycle (URS, testing, PQ)
* Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder‑management skills
* You are able to work independently after on-boarding
* You are fluent in English (French understanding is an asset)
* You are open to work mostly on‑site.
Nice‑to‑Have
* Having an experience in bio-manufacturing, production processes, or batch release workflows
* Being familiar with data integration tools
* Techno‑functional or Business Analyst experience
* Having experience collaborating directly with production floor teams
