Senior Information Security Engineer – Threat Detection & Response ReadinessLocation: Belgium (preferred), Netherlands or FranceWork Model: 8 days/month onsiteKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain cyber incident response plans, procedures, and playbooks.Design, coordinate, and execute cyber incident response exercises and readiness tests.Assess threat intelligence and prioritize actions for Threat Hunting, Detection Engineering, and Incident Response teams.Act as a subject matter expert for Incident Response processes and tooling.Drive continuous improvements to Threat Detection & Response capabilities.Track and remediate gaps identified through exercises and assessments.Deliver security guidance and training to relevant stakeholders.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong experience in Cyber Incident Response and Security Operations.Deep knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, TCP/IP networking, and security technologies.Experience with threat intelligence, threat detection, and response processes.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.Preferred CertificationsGCIH, GCFA, GCFE, GREM, or equivalent security certifications.
