Leading with heart, living by values.
Start date: August
Interested in audit and consulting? Combine the best of both worlds within our Risk, Controls and Compliance (RCC) team!
To be a good consultant, you need to master your subject better than your client, and that mastery only comes with practice and experience. Audit is where you learn (fast) from the trials and experience of others.
In the beginning, you’ll mainly support your financial audit colleagues by reviewing the business and IT processes that ultimately feed the financial statements, and by applying data analytics. Audit is where you’ll learn how to structure work, work in teams, meet deadlines and deliver quality, and before you’ll know it, you’ll be coaching others.
The experience you’ll gain will help you drive PwC’s purpose to build trust in society and solve important problems, by enabling you to support clients on the following:
1. Proper use and control of technology, including new technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA) and data analytics (dashboarding, real-time monitoring and process mining)
2. Sustainability: how to assure society on the sustainable and ‘green’ strategies of organisations, but also defining those strategies (e.g. for climate change)
3. Governance, risk management, internal control and internal audit helping clients with various kinds of compliance matters and being in control in an efficient way
4. Trust and transparency solutions, to give comfort to third parties on controls in their operations, but also with respect to delicate issues like conflict minerals.
5. Security and controls in their enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (SAP, S4/HANA, Oracle and others) and other applications, and for IT in general
6. Ensuring project success through our transformation assurance offering
As you progress in your career, you’ll work on a variety of projects for clients in different sectors, develop expertise in some of these domains, and you’ll be involved in our business development by delivering workshops and presentations, developing proposals, managing teams and building long-term client relationships.
