Decathlon Belgium is looking for a Traffic Leader to drive traffic acquisition strategy and boost our online performance !
Leadership and Team Management
1. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of digital marketing experts specializing in SEO, SEA, Display, Social Paid, Affiliation and Direct Marketing.
2. Provide clear direction and set objectives for the team to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
3. Oversee performance, coaching, and professional development of team members.
4. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Traffic and Channel Strategy
5. Develop and execute strategies to drive high-quality traffic to the website and other digital properties across various channels (SEO, SEA, Display, Social Paid, Affiliation, Direct Marketing).
6. Optimize and scale traffic acquisition efforts, ensuring a focus on quality, efficiency, and performance.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Content, Design, Development, etc.) to ensure successful campaign execution and traffic growth.
Performance Analysis and Reporting
8. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the effectiveness of all traffic channels.
9. Provide insights and recommendations for improving traffic acquisition and conversion.
10. Lead the team in optimizing campaigns based on performance data, A/B testing, and industry best practices.
Budget Management
11. Manage and allocate budgets across various channels, ensuring optimal spending and ROI.
12. Work closely with the finance team to ensure that the traffic and marketing budget is aligned with overall business objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration
13. Communicate regularly with senior leadership to report on traffic growth, performance, and strategy.
14. Collaborate with other teams (Digital, Sports, Circularity etc.) to align on objectives and ensure smooth execution of campaigns.
Innovation and Trend Analysis
15. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging technologies.
16. Introduce new tools, tactics, and platforms that can drive traffic and improve overall performance.
Jobprofiel
As Traffic Leader, you have a proven track record of successfully managing and leading cross-functional teams. Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are essential for fostering collaboration and driving team performance. You have strong analytical skills to turn data into action, strategic thinking for problem-solving, and experience with digital marketing budget management.
You also have:
17. 7-10 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, specifically in SEO, SEA, Display, Social Paid, and Direct Marketing.
18. In-depth knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, SEO tools, etc.).
19. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Advanced certifications in digital marketing or SEO/SEA are a plus.
20. Languages skills : FR and / or NL speaking + English fluently
