Network Solution Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex National & International network solutions that meet both current and future business needs.
Your mission:
As a Network Solution Architect, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and business stakeholders, to ensure that network infrastructure aligns with strategic goals and delivers high performance, security, and scalability. You will be responsible for:
·Design and develop comprehensive network architectures that support business objectives and IT strategies.
·Ensure that network solutions are scalable, secure, and meet industry best practices.
·Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations to improve network infrastructure.
1. Develop detailed design documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
2. Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective network solutions.
·Define and implement network standards, policies, and procedures.
·Lead the deployment and integration of network solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
·Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
·Ensure seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure and applications.
·Monitor network performance and implement solutions to optimize efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
·Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide advanced support to resolve them.
·Implement network monitoring tools and processes to ensure proactive management of the network environment.
3. Present technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
4. Work closely with business units to align network solutions with business goals.
5. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and other IT staff.
6. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
7. Participate in continuous learning and development opportunities to maintain expertise in networking technologies.
8. Lead initiatives to drive innovation and improvement in network design and management.
Your profile:
We do not only deliver letters and parcels, but also opportunities. This job is open to all with diverse backgrounds and talents, possessing the following skills:
·8+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a network architecture role.
·Extensive experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
·Proficiency in networking technologies such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and SD-WAN.
·Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
·Knowledge of cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud environments.
·Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
·Familiarity with network security practices and technologies (e.g., IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPNs, NAC) is a plus.
·Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct presentations and training.
9. Open-mindedness and a collaborative approach, capable of engaging with various stakeholders.
10. Leadership qualities to gain trust and respect from the team and other departments.
·Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and make strategic recommendations.
·Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
11. Preferred Certifications: (CCIE) / (CCNP) / (CISSP) / Cloud Certified Solutions Architect
