We are currently looking for a Team Leader – KYC / AML to support one of our clients in the financial services sector.
Mission Context
The Team Leader is responsible for supervising a team of analysts performing KYC and AML activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, optimizing processes, and maintaining high-quality standards in client onboarding and ongoing monitoring of high-risk clients.
Function Description
Team Leadership & Management
* Supervise and coach a team of KYC / AML analysts, ensuring effective task allocation, performance monitoring, and professional development.
* Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Risk Oversight
* Oversee client onboarding, periodic reviews, and high-risk monitoring, ensuring adherence to KYC/AML regulations.
* Identify potential risks and suspicious activity patterns, escalating issues and ensuring timely remediation.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AML regulations and industry best practices and implement process improvements.
Process Optimization & Reporting
* Develop, maintain, and enforce operational procedures, workflows, and documentation to ensure consistent team execution.
* Produce structured reports and dashboards to inform management on compliance status, risk exposure, and team performance.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes and improve the efficiency of client onboarding and monitoring.
Language Requirements
* English: Fluent
* French: Knowledge is a plus
* Dutch: Knowledge is a plus
Education & Experience
* Proven experience in KYC/AML operations and regulatory compliance
* Strong team leadership and people management experience
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
