BioNexUS Project Controller
We are seeking an analytical and culturally adaptable Project Controller to support a highly complex, end ‑ to ‑ end strategic investment project in the United States. This role is based within our Project Team in Belgium and will play a central part in the delivery of UCB's new biological manufacturing site.
About The Role
As Project Controller, you will be a key contributor to the financial governance of UCB's BioNexUs project—a major strategic program led from Belgium to build a state ‑ of ‑ the ‑ art biologics manufacturing facility in the USA.
You will ensure robust budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, reporting, and compliance, while helping shape a world ‑ class project control framework for one of UCB's most significant capital investments.
Who You'll Work With

You will ensure robust budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, reporting, and compliance, while helping shape a world ‑ class project control framework for one of UCB's most significant capital investments.
What You'll Do
* Develop, monitor and maintain project budgets and financial forecasts
* Track and control project costs, commitments, and cash outflows
* Identify financial risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation measures
* Update and refine business case on new information and insights
* Deliver consolidated financial reports and ensure full compliance with internal and external requirements
* Coordinate and ensure alignment between the project and all key corporate functions (Tax, Treasury, Insurance, Consolidation, IFRS, Procurement, Legal, HR, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Strategy, etc.)

* Experience in project controlling and financial planning
* Background in large-scale capital investment projects, ideally within pharma, biotech, or manufacturing
* Strong proficiency in financial systems, project management tools, and reporting frameworks
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Cultural adaptability and familiarity with the U.S. market are a strong advantage
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and international environment
