We are looking for a senior embedded design engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is based in Leuven. By joining us, you will contribute to building the first large scale battery factories in Europe, Asia and the United States.
As an Embedded Software Engineer, integrated in one of our Cross Functional Teams, you will:
Develop embedded software – primarily in C – for functional prototypes supporting advanced development, research, and project design
Use Python to do automated testing
Work closely with a global R&D team to solve complex engineering issues and support the global team with manufacturing related issues
Report to the Design Lead
The ideal candidate has
We are looking for strongly motivated professionals, meeting the following requirements:
1-3 years of Firmware (FW) experience
Experience in C and Python programming
Knowledge of the following is a plus:
Real-time systems
low voltage power electronics
analog signals and measurements
communication interfaces (such as SPI, I2C, U(S)ART, CAN)
Excellent communication skills in English
The flexibility to travel abroad for trainings and short missions
