Senior BI Analyst (Product)
pawaTech is hiring a Senior BI Analyst (Product) with a strong background in product-focused data analytics. You’ll be part of our Business Intelligence (BI) team and close collaboration with our Data Warehouse (DWH) team, driving insights that empower product decisions. Your work will focus on understanding profitability, customer behavior, and product performance - helping Product Heads and business leaders make smarter, data-driven decisions. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with product and development teams, build reports and data visualisations to support the growth of our operations as we expand into new markets.

What you’ll be doing
* Leading analytics initiatives for the Product areas across Sports, Casino, Lottery, etc.;
* Performing product and features analysis and modelling the costs of considered features;
* Deep-diving into customer behavior to help us better understand and enhance the user experience;
* Working closely with Product Heads to translate data insights into actionable strategies;
* Understanding the overall on‑site/on‑app Customer experience by deep diving into both platform and web analytics data, so as to identify pain points, performance issues and growth opportunities;
* Build insightful dashboards in Tableau and Redash to support business stakeholders in their decision making;
* Partnering with the development and DWH teams: write/review specs to DWH to: a) ensure ETLs always bring accurate and insightful data on new features & Product; b) ensure insightful higher level tables can effectively be used for BI reporting;
* Presenting findings and insights to non‑technical audiences with clarity and confidence;
* Proactively proposing new ideas, metrics, and analytical approaches to drive impact.
What makes you a great candidate
* At least 5 years of experience working in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field;
* Strong analytical background with a proven ability to turn data into business insights;
* Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data querying and manipulation;
* Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI or other;
* Understanding of multi‑layered data warehouse and ETL (Extraction Transform Load) processes (Clickhouse experience is a plus);
* Experience with cloud data layers (BigQuery and GCP considered a plus);
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline (Mathematics, Business, Engineering, and any scientific field with data handling);
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills;
* Excellent communication skills – able to discuss data with technical and non‑technical people alike;
* Comfortable working in a flat, fast‑moving environment with direct access to decision‑makers;
* General understanding of the iGaming industry and strong interest in iGaming;
* A “can‑do” attitude – humble, approachable, and open‑minded.
* Hands‑on experience with Clickhouse;
* Prior (even limited) experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4);
* Prior experience (even limited) with the iGaming industry.
