Security and Risk Management Consultant – Ref. 2026-010 Current position available: Safety/Quality and Management Department Your mission You participate in all steps related to risk management in order to ensure the safety of patients, staff and infrastructure. You participate in the development of institutional macro-processes, the implementation of business continuity plans and monitoring indicators. You develop the process approach (e.g., clinical pathways, care pathways, mapping, critical steps, related steps, etc.) You integrate into the quality culture in a hospital setting and help to develop it. You are a key player in ensuring the sustainability of the continuous improvement process within the hospital. You participate in the implementation of progress indicators and monitoring of patient care based on accessible databases. You provide specific support to the assisted reproductive technology (ART) center for quality management and risks related to sensitive activities, ensuring process security, traceability and regulatory compliance. We offer you An open-ended contract at 90% of full time with commitment as soon as possible, mainly on the Sart Tilman site and the CHR Citadelle (within the medically assisted reproduction center (CPMA)). A starting salary of €3,766.44 gross per month at 90% of full-time hours (IFIC CAT 17 pay scale) recognition of professional experience (personalized information available upon request from the recruitment department). Exceptionally, the successful candidate may retain their CHU (University Hospital) grade if and only if the position offered is identical to their current role. 30 days of paid leave, 10 public holidays and 4 extra-legal days, additional leave days depending on age; meal vouchers of €4.50; a reduced rate at company restaurants; exemption from co-payment for consultations and technical procedures; hospitalization insurance, employer contribution of 80% on the TEC/SNCB pass; commercial advantages, the possibility of teleworking. Your profile You hold a university degree (Belgian diploma or recognized equivalent). You have training and/or experience in quality management and/or risk management. You are passionate about all aspects of risk management and process improvement. You demonstrate rigor, availability, communication skills, leadership, creativity, and collaboration. You are able to manipulate digital data and are familiar with computer tools. Experience in a hospital setting is an asset. Your positioning The CHU of Liège is a public hospital which has, within its medical and support services, more than 6000 employees, active on 10 sites in the Liège region. You will be joining the University Hospital of Liège as an advisor. Depending on the hospital's needs, you may be called upon to join other teams requiring an advisor. For this specific position, you will be joining the Safety/Quality and Risk Management department, which includes several safety/quality and risk management advisors. Why join us?
