We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead the administrative heart of our cargo handling processes. In this role, you oversee the office team that drives our logistics flow. You are the link between the Station Manager and the floor, translating client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) into efficient operational procedures.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the office team to ensure a high-performance, flexible workforce.
* Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and implement tangible initiatives to optimize office-related logistics.
* Commercial Translation: Attend client meetings to translate commercial agreements into concrete operational workflows.
* Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to Swissport safety, security, and environmental standards within an aviation context.
* Financial Control: Supervise office-related costs, analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain budget integrity.
* Issue Resolution: Proactively address client complaints regarding procedures and implement structural improvements.
Who are we looking for? We need a seasoned professional who thrives in high-pressure, fast-paced environments:
* Experience: 7 – 10 years of operational management experience within the logistics, cargo, or aviation industry.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent through experience.
* Languages: Full professional proficiency in Dutch, French, and English is essential.
* Skillset: Strong analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to manage complex administrative workflows.
